Is it hazardous to your health to use a very old, almost broken toaster oven?

for example, it's bad for your health to use a very old microwave because it might be releasing more radiation than usual to heat your food. i don't think toaster ovens don't use radiation, but is it bad for your health to use an old toaster oven?
