Why does my cat occaionally pee outside the litter box?

Your cat is either marking her territory or she does not like the catbox. If she doesn't like her cat box, it could be for a number of reasons. Try changing the litter, getting a larger cat box, cleaning it regularly, and emptying it out the first time and trying out new things. Also, has she been fixed? Some cats will do this when they have not been.
