Budgie is scared of my hand?

I got my budgie Yoshi last Friday. The first day he was stepping up on my finger. Over the next few days he kept stepping up and wasn't scared of my hand. But today when I woke up my Fat Cat Alvin was at Yoshi's cage. I drenched Alvin in water and he cheesed it but now Yoshi is scared of my Hand. Also he is chirping all the time now and never chirped before today.
