I'm trying to gain weight for a multitude of reasons, and I'm wondering where does it go first? Like does the fat go and add on to your stomach, your arms, thighs, chest? I know I'm worthless compared to everyone else. I'm like something that should be discarded. I found an undetectable poison that can put me into cardiac arrest and it will appear to be natural causes in the autopsy. My family will miss me but their pain will not be nearly as much as I would have had if I continue to live. How can I go on with my life when I don't have anything to live for? How can I live when I know my dreams will never be? Is life really worth it when the only path that I will walk is a path of eternal sorrow?

RN...hating night shift...don't know what to do.?

Ok, so I've been an RN for 2.5 years. I'm now on my 4th job as a nurse since I just cannot find my niche in nursing. I worked med/surg at first (while pregnant w/ my 2nd child). I ended up getting offfered another job while on maternity leave making alot more money so I decided to take it. That job was at a plasma donation center. I absolutely hated it. After awhile I would find myself actually crying on my way to work because I hated it that much. So I decided to go back to the hospital field on med/surg again at a different hospital...ended up regretting that pretty quickly. I then found what I thought to be my dream job at a different hospital...obstretics. I LOVED my clinical rotation in OB in nursing school and just knew that that was what I wanted to do. So I applied and was interviewed and offered the position...the only downfall...it was nights (3 12 hour shifts). I was told when I was hired that I would probably not have a chance at getting a day position for at least 10 years. I was just so excited I didn't care. Well now I've been there since April...I oriented on days for 6 months and then went to nights. I really like the job itself but HATE nights. I can't sleep during the day. I have an hour commute and have found myself many times trying to fall asleep driving. My whole body is messed up (digestive system, immune system, etc). I'm really depressed. I've lost almost 10 pounds from stress (which I'm very thin to begin with) I can go on and on. I have 2 children 6 and almost 2 and a husband who works days. My husband HATES my job and begs me to find a day job all the time. I feel like I can't even enjoy the time I do have with my family because I'm always so tired. It's killing me because I don't know what to do. I like this job but just not night shift. I have looked at numerous other hospitals in my area and there are no day openings in OB..only nights. Any advice?? Should I try to find something different?? At times I just feel I am sacrificing too much for this job...my health, quality time with my children, my marriage...my sanity. Please help :(

ok so we did it lets just say 1 week and 3 days before her period and its comes on either the 11,12,13,or 14 and so we waited till the 14 and it never came so we waited till the 20th it never came then we went and bought a first response test and she took it it said negative so then we waited a week later and still no period so we took the test agin still said negative then finally it cam on the 5 of this month but kinda in small drops then a lil more and it stayed only a lil bit of blood we took a nother test still nothing so im getting worried is she pregnant

It may be for a few different reasons. I like the character designs first of all. I find it's boring if the characters are too realistic. I like fantasy but I like them to be different. Does the Pink Patch Cause side effects?

I recently got a free sample of the new "Pink Patch" Diet thing, I used 2 and was fine, didn’t feel like I was on anything, I just found I was eating less, anyway day three of the pink patch I go for a nap cause I’m suddenly very Tired, I wake up and the arm the patch was on really hurts, I feel sick, hot, dizzy and just not very well…. I pull off the patch and I have the most bizarre rash or skin reaction…. 5 parallel completely straight lines, as thin as thread have flared up on my skin, they don’t hurt but the muscle in the arm does! It’s sort of like a claw scratch, has anyone else experienced anything else like this, does my arm hurt because I’m sick and it’s just coincidence that I’ve got an odd looking blemish? ... I was just really curious to see if the pink patch works… and I know there are probably a hundred people with itchy fingers desperate to type all about the benefits of exercise and a sensible diet… please don’t… it’s just patronising… I’m not morbidly obese, I’m just busy and I like food, and had no intention of buying these patches… but they were free!!!! A few suspicious things with my car?

Hi I have a 1987 Plymouth Reliant K and I havnt had a need to drive it this winter but ocasionly i've started it up and have had rediculous white smokey exhaust thats rather intoxicating. More recently I looked under my car to notice what looks like sludge puddles 1 under my engine didn't look to see exactly which part it was under and 1 about a foot away from my rear left wheel. It's been in my car port the whole time has only had some snow on the trunk and front bumper from the wind. Theres also old burnt oil I think on my engine block but seems very old so probably not related.

Peugeot 406 cutting out and display reverts to year 2000?

I have a 2002 Peugeot 406 estate. Recently its started to cut out while approaching junctions but starts straight away although there is momentary panic as the steering and brakes lose their effectiveness. Dash display flashes up anti-theft with a key symbol. There is no alarm fitted and I wasn't aware our car had an anti-theft device anyway. Also, the calendar reverts to Jan 1 2000 although it does not reset any fuel consumption data or lose the built in sat nav destinations we added. Does not just happen when cold and is intermittent. Did it 3 times in a row just now, stopped at home for 30 mins and took it out for a test...needless to say no problem.

How does charcoal filtration work?

I want to join the military but I was told I can't go active duty because I have too many dependents. I am married and have three children, 2 with my husband, and my youngest with someone else. Please do not relax your hair. Those chemicals are really harsh. Some relaxers are stronger than draino products. I would stick to flat ironing once every 2wks. Feeding livebearers. ?

Hi. I have 6 swordtails (4 female, 2 male) in a 30 gallon fish tank with 6 zebra danios and a few apple snails. I usually just feed my fish Tetra Tropical Fish Flakes, but I was looking to start feeding them more nutritious foods. The only problem is that i don't have enough time on my hands to prepare blanched zucchini and other veggies on a regular basis. What else is readily-available, fairly-priced, and nutritious that i can feed to omnivorous swordtails?

That's a pretty far-fetched situation with a 10 year old girl working for the Secret Service and participating in murder and extreme violence. I don't think any explanation or background would make me believe the US government would put a 10 year old girl in such danger. Maybe if you made her just a little older, even 20 years old would be easier to believe. It's hard to continue reading any story if you just don't believe the premise. The story is also hard to read because the dialogue all runs together and you are not sure who is speaking at the time. If you have to stop all the time to figure out who is talking, the story gets boring really quick.

Why do i feel ignored on Facebook?

I only have 40 friends on facebook. I would say a few of them I don't really know, but we share mutual friends, and I guess that kinda makes it okay in round about way. But my concern is whenever I comment on something, nobody says anything back, they don't hit the "like" on or nothing. Even when I've wished someone a happy birthday, I sent personal message to them because i didnt want to be rejected in front of the facebook world. And sure enough, the one person in my friend's list i wished a happy birthday didn't acknowlege me at all. I have shared some really good news articles from Yahoo news, just about every one of them very helpful. And no one ever says anything. I am alone on the page. I don't see where the friend is in the frienship part of facebook. I am feeling really apprehensive. Any tips on housebreaking 2 puppies at once?

I have 2 16 week old pups and housebreaking is NOT going well. They are crate trained and clean in the crate. They will go outside and have even learned to come get a treat after. BUT they still go in the house. I take them out every hour or if they start snifiing. If I catch them I say No NO to startle and rush them out. But STILL given the chance they will dirty in the house. I am so frustrated!

I have lived in Switzerland and visited Canada. They are both absolutely amazing places and you really can't go wrong with either. From your description I think you may prefer Switzerland with its quaint villages, alpine meadows, B and B's etc. Canada is probably better for the nature lover, great to go hiking and see wildlife etc. Austria around Innsbruck is another option similar to the Switzerland idea.

How do I train my dog to sleep somewhere other than my bed?

This may not be possible, but I want to train my 6 year old doggie to sleep on his own. If I leave my bedroom door open, he comes and snuggles under the covers every nite. He will NOT go sleep in another room or in his crate by himself. I've let him sleep with me since he was a puppy (since he was housebroken ang big enough that I wouldn't roll over him in my sleep). I know I've created this problem but I need to know a way to train him to sleep on the floor or in another room without having to shut my bedroom door. If I shut the door he whines and scratches at it to get in and that keeps me awake. He's just a 12 lb babydog, but at this point I'd be teaching an old dog new tricks. He's not allowed in my bedroom when I'm not at home, I shut the door and he sleeps all day in an easy chair in the living room. Any advice?

If my ex-husband is telling my daughter lies about why he can't come to see her, should I tell her the truth?

It's because his license was suspended for not paying child support. I have been driving her to and from his house each visit (for a total of 4 hours total driving time, aarrgh!). He told her that he couldn't find his drivers license and so couldn't come to see her unless I could pick her up and drop her off. I have been doing that very thing for several months now but am about to tell him that he needs to find a way to do his share. Why are most primarily black schools functioning so low?

Most primarily black schools (grade schools not college) are way below the standards for the average student in the US and we see that blacks who attend white schools have significantly higher scores than blacks who attend black schools thus we know that black people have the capacity to be just as intelligent as anyone else. Confrontation in dreams?

A main theme in my dreams is confrontation/pleading my case for something. The dreams vary greatly in situation and in cirstance, but the constant is that I'm either yelling at someone because I feel they've done something wrong/are making a bad decision, or I'm pleading with someone to listen to me and take my advice because they are going to make a mistake. I would not ride him again until you find out what the problem is as you may cause further damage, and certainly more pain. And he does not need that right now. He may not be showing any signs of lameness, but if he has a swollen hock, you can bet there is something going on there. Since none of us can see him, it really is the wise thing to let the vet look at it.

Also, they stopped selling food items by its self, like a burrito used to cost a dollar, now they FORCE you to buy a combo, which is $2 and the only difference is that they add a 4 oz juice box, wow a extra dollar for that, and a chicken sandwich used to be $1.50, now its $3 with a juice box, they wont let you just buy it by itself, they impose their fascist business bull crap on us. The lunch company is contracted, not owned by the district, is there any laws out there that can fix this?!?!

How do you get attention when your friend always takes the spotlight?

I have a friend who always has to be the center of attention. If we are having a discussion with a group of people she will usually be the one talking and I cannot even get a word in. Even if there are just a few of us she will have to be in the spotlight. The annoying thing is, it works on everyone. I have seen two small meteorites come down in my backyard within days of each other, is this normal?

My "backyard" is 10 acres which opens up to 100 acres so it is very dark, I was deer watching / star gazing when this happened. Both times it seemed i was within 100 yards from where it was and it was a reddish orange streak that stopped just above the tree tops. They looked like a firework that was fizzling out. Simply put, the laser eye is going bad. You can open it up and try to adjust the sensitivity pots, But I don't recommend that, because if you don't know what your doing, you could render it completely useless altogether. The laser pickups don't last forever, and the older they get, the weaker the beam it reflects back. I'd say it's time for a new one.

Just a small word of advice for the sub. Bigger doesn't have to mean better. You can perform little tricks on your sub, depending on the model of course, that can give you deep, hard hitting b at a great price. My advice would be to find a sub that has a built in crossover as well as independent volume control. You can set the crossover to a relatively high level and direct most of the low frequency effects it's way. It's not ideal and you'll lose some clarity but hey, it'll pound. You can also tweak the volume level to help achieve the desired b. And of course, let's not forget the oldest trick in the book. Place your sub next to a wall if at all possible. It'll shake your house to it's very core. Uh, don't do this if you live in an apartment or share any common walls. It's a good way to piss off your neighbors.

My skills in math and science aren't outstanding, but are above average. I'm grappling with whether I should go into a pre-med program or not, because I'm not sure if I could make it through some of the more rigorous math and science courses. Definitely don't think you need to feel sorry for people with disabilities, you may need to put more thoughts into meeting their individual needs but that's it. My boyfriends dad has no legs and there is very little that he cannot do, apart from when he chooses not to do things. It can be quite a shock to see someone with no legs for the first time and they usually understand a little curiosity just make sure you treat them as a person above all else.

I want to feed my daughter to 18 months?

At 10 months of age, I wouldn't be restricting her feeds. milk is still (or should be) the basis of her diet. As well as three meals of solids, just demand feed her. There is no need to start weaning at 10 months particularly if you intend to feed her until 18 months. Another suggestion is to let your daughter self wean. When she is 18 months, you may very well decide to continue feeding and at 18 months your daughter would be very happy with just one or two feeds. I'm still breastfeeding my 20 month old and he's not ready to be weaned yet (despite that I would be only too happy if he stopped,lol). BTW you shouldn't feel any guilt for "only" breastfeeding your twins until 3 months. You didn't fail at breastfeeding them, you managed to breastfeed for 3 months which is something to feel proud off. I am also very sorry for the loss of your child. I wish you all the best. Good luck. Breastfeeding isn't easy so I commend you for intending to breastfeed until Holly is 18 months.

Sulfameth/TMP and Prednisone together.?

My son was taking Sulfameth/TMP and prednisone together. Three days after taking his last dose of prednisone, he broke out in hives. I'm guessing a reaction to the Sulfameth. Why did it take him 10 days to have a reaction? Was the Prednisone keeping it under control and after the prednisone was got the hives showed up? After taking the Sulfameth for 10 days, how long may it take to get it out of his system. Liquid benadryl is not doing much for him.

Dog Pain Medicine??? Question?

There's not much you can do. You can't force your neighbors to vaccinate their cats and/or kittens, nor can you get them to spay them. If your cat is vaccinated, then it should be fine from anything these other cats could possibly catch, and as for your child, he or she should be safe likewise. If you're so worried you can ask your neighbors why they haven't yet, and possibly ask them to do it and explain it's for peace of mind, but if they don't you can't do much else. Good luck.

As I see it, you have two choices. The simplest is to create another character, perhaps a sidekick that sticks with Girl 1 and when she dies transfers her allegiance to Girl 2, Look at the Sherlock Holmes stories, for example, to see how a secondary character narrator can be effective. That can also give you some ways to hold tension since the narrator doesn't always know everything the protagonist knows. The second way would be to have Girl 1 be the narrator up to her death then end that chapter there and start a new chapter with Girl2 as the narrator. That way is a little trickier to handle but could work. I think you should choose the first way and write a chapter each way it and see how that feels. If you choose to change POV, try writing the first chapter that would be each protagonist's and see how that feels. Either way, stick with it and get it done. To be a successful writer takes talent, luck and determination but if you have enough of the latter, you only need one of the first two.

In a lot of cases all investigators have is a small amount of evidence that points towards a certain suspect. In cases where the evidence is very limited how important is a confession to proceed with filing charges. For instance, you find the murder weapon with prints on it that match a suspect. All the evidence that is present is the prints. The prints alone is good enough for PC and arrest, but probably not enough to hold a conviction in court. Or even in a robbery or burglary all the investigatior have is some form of physical evidence that puts a suspect at a scene. The evidence is enough again for PC, but more then likely not enough to go any further. All you really have is weak cirstantial evidence that places a person at the scene or in possession of the weapon at one time. So, in cases like these how important is a confession to file charges?

Your pets not holding aggro because your outdamaging it, before when you were BM your pet was a beter tank and dealt more damage.
