Another question for guys?

mmmkay what does it mean when one of your guy friends clearly is flirting with you compliments you and all that showing signs that hes interested.....then completely ignores you or acts aloof distant for a while....then randomely starts to flirt again and wants to hang out the whole nine yards?? its a vicious cycle and makes no sense hahah
