Would I make it into a pre-med program?

I got an 84% (a C in my school) in Chemistry this year (mainly because the teacher simply wasn't good), an 1830 composite SAT score (590 Math, 600 Writing, 640 Critical Reading), and an 85% in Algebra II (a C in my school). My skills in math and science aren't outstanding, but are above average. I'm grappling with whether I should go into a pre-med program or not, because I'm not sure if I could make it through some of the more rigorous math and science courses. I've always been deeply interested in a doctor's work (specifically that of surgeons) and can see myself doing it in the future. When I was young, I had a major back surgery to correct congenital kyphosis. Any guidance would be appreciated, thanks!
